What are some very cute animals you can keep around as a pet other than a dog or a cat?
I like small animals, the size of a beagle or household cat but I don't want those. I was thinking of something else instead maybe a ferret or gerbil, do you have any ideas or suggestions?

Despite their name, hermit crabs are very social animals and need to be in groups. They are often found in the hundreds in the wild. While it is almost impossible to keep hundreds of crabs in your home, your crab will be lonely without another crab or two to keep it company. Hermit crabs cannot be bred in Captivity. Their First month or so is spent as free swimming zoea whish is the name for a Hermit Crab hatchling (zoo plankton or animal plankton, plant plankton is called Phytoplankton) before they settle down on the sea floor as a mini version of their adults and search for their first of many shell homes. This natural process cannot be duplicated in a lab or at home so any time a Land Hermit Crab dies it is a true loss from nature.
