Shoulder Hand
I have a constant throbbing pain in my left shoulder, elbow and hand. Does anyone know what it could be?
I was in a car crash 7 weeks ago and the only answer I get from Doctors is it is whiplash. No one will give a more definitive answer. The pain can be quite severe at times, especially if I use the arm or put weight on it. I've broken bones in the past and the pain doesn't feel like that though.
I would appreciate anybodies help.
Have your neck checked thoroughly by a neurologist. This could be a sign of a bulging or herniated disc. I used to have the same symptoms and was misdiagnosed twice. Once for tennis elbow and the other carpal tunnel. What was really happening was a disc was bulging and pressing on a nerve. I had pain in my shoulder down the tricept to the elbow and then down into my hand. And it was at times extremely painful. Don't want to blather on but have your neck checked again ASAP - get an x-ray or MRI if possible. Considering your history or a car accident and 7 weeks later you are still in pain something is clearly not right. You will probably need some physical therapy as well. Good Luck
