how can i find out if my kate spade bag is authentic?

i bought it from a thrift store that i often find really good deals and upscale items. this bag is really cute and i'll probably use it regardless. but where can i find info on checking authenticity without actually going to a store?

One way is the label--the stitching should be all the way at the end of the label. If the stitching is so far inside that the edges are folding up, it's probably fake.
