What are some good ideas for brown bag lunches that you don't necessarily have to keep cold?
It's almost time for back to school, and I am sick of the old peanut butter sandwich and bag of chips. I am trying to be more healthy this year. So I'm looking for some good ideas! help me please?
But I use a brown bag, so I want things that won't spoil by lunchtime if I don't have something to chill them.
You should consider thing like fresh fruit like apples, pears, and oranges. You can even have something like a WalDorf salad precut and ready to mix if you can find the little Mayonese packs just be sure to toss your fruit with a little lemmon juice to help prevent it from browning. Though you should consider one of those new cooler lunch boxes to expand your options. With a little ice pack they can keep your food at safe temps for about 6 hours
